先日のユーザ会のレポートを簡単に作ってみました。
長文なので、興味ある方だけ読むといいかもしれませんよ？

第12回日本XPユーザ会 参加レポート
XPユーザ会ではおなじみの新宿サザンタワー・マイクロソフトでの勉強会。
開始の19時直前に駆け込んでみると、会場はとても盛況で、空いている席を探すのが大変でした。
そんなわけで、非常に簡単ですがレポートを書いてみようと思います。
参加できなかった方の参考になれば幸いです。
■開会の挨拶
今回の挨拶は小井土さんの衝撃的な発言から開会となりました。
というのも、今まで代表を務めてらっしゃった長瀬さんが諸々の都合により、代表を倉貫さんにバトンタッチということらしく。そういえば会場に長瀬さんの姿が見えません。うぅむ。
そんなわけで開会の挨拶は倉貫さんの所信表明の挨拶という感じでした。
それにしてもびっくりしたー。
■「距離考えてますか - 距離にもいろいろあるけれど」
アッズーリの松本さんによるXPでの様々な距離についての発表。
題名から、オフショア開発のような、物理的に開発拠点がそれぞれが離れている状況下で如何にしてその距離を克服していくかという内容かと思っていたのですが、実際はそうではなくコミュニケーションにおける距離に関する発表でした。
コミュニケーションが円滑に行われているかどうかを距離という表現を使って説明されていたのはなかなか面白かったです。
しかし、精神論的な話が多く、具体例としてはWikiを使った情報共有くらいしか出てこなかったので、そういう意味では少し物足りなかったかも。
お客とのCVSを使ったソースコードの共有の話に関しては、その責任範囲をどうするのかってのは確かに難しい問題。
■どこでもXP -- リモートペアプロの実践
NECの真鍋さんと蔦澤さんによる、離れた拠点間でのペアプロのお話し。
WindowsXPのリモートアシスタントとメッセンジャーによる音声チャットを使ったペアプロということで、多少のレイテンシは感じられるものの、案外上手く動いていて興味深かった。ただ、相手のポインタが見えないのでその点今見ている箇所などを相手に説明するのが大変そう。
しかし、この方法、お互いにペアを組んだことがある人じゃないと成立しないのかもしれません。というのも、心理的な敷居が高そうだなぁと。
すでにペアを組んだことがある経験者同士であれば、その人の人となりや癖というものが分かっていてある程度その人のリアクション等が想像出来るのでしょうけれど、そうでないと…
かといってWebカメとか使うと、確かに相手は見えるようになるのですが、常に対面している状態になって、なんだかお見合いでもしてるかのようなやりにくさを感じそうです。特に相手が女性だったりすると恥ずかしいかもなぁ…
方法としては悪くないと思うのですが、そこらへんの心理的な障壁を上手く下げてやる方法がないと即実践、というわけにはいかないような気がしました。
それから、お二人とも発表になれていなかったのか、淡々と進んでいったのが残念でした。
■劇団ペケぴー
懸田さんがお休み。
今回のテーマは「アンチテスティングパターン」。
あぁ初心者にはありがちかもしれない的な事例がいくつか。Assartがないとか、結果を目で確認している（つまり自動化していない）っていう失敗は笑った。単純だけれど陥りそうな罠ですよね。
過去の勉強会通して今回、今までで一番笑いがとれていたような気がします。
小気味良いテンポが良かったのではないでしょうか。劇団員のスキルアップを実感しました。（笑）
＃飲み会で安井さんに確認したんですが、このアンチテスティングパターンは実話らしい…
■ライトニングトークス
トップバッターは富士通の和田さん。「ＸＰは性善説か ～ＸＰがターゲットとしている開発者像とは？～」というテーマ。
XPで開発すると、モチベーションが右肩上がりだよ！ということで性善説なんだーという発表。で、時間が余ったので「ジャグリングのすすめ」。仕込みが素晴らしく、最後まで笑わせてもらいました。
次はRuby界隈から、かどさんによる「blikiの紹介」。結論から言うと「藻前らblikiを読んで下さい」ということらしい。ってか、内容ほとんどRuby万歳的な内容。次々にたたみかけてくるスピード感あふれたトークが非常に気持ちよかったです。会場、沸いてました。（笑）
そしてMVP for C#の小井土さんによる「VS2005とNUnit2.2によるTDDのデモ」。
基本的にはTech・Edのアジャイルナイトを踏襲しているような感じ。グリーンバーが出たら拍手はお約束って事で。
最後は水越さんの「プロトタイプベースへ愛を」というお題。
プロトタイプベース言語のIoを使ってのTDDのお話し。プロトタイプベースの言語ってのを初めて見たのでよく分かりませんでしたが、ガンダムネタを織り込んだトークで、会場も敏感に反応していました。
■閉会の挨拶
スタッフの募集とか色々。そこらへんは年明けにでも告知するそうです。また、年明けに新年会をやるとかやらないとか。
■二次会
突如開催されることとなった飲み会に参加してきました。
気が付いてみれば、右隣には安井さんと前には和田さんと、講演者の方に囲まれる席でして、興味深いお話しとかいろいろ。
ジャグリングの話に始まって、TEFの話とか、三洋鳥取工場の話とか技術立国日本を復興するには、とか盛り上がりまくり。
ものつくりの楽しさとかをどうやって若手に伝えていくかとか、そういった精神論的な話が出来るのもメソドロジを扱うユーザ会の良いところだなぁ。
勿論XPをどう実践するのかっていう話も盛り上がりましたよ。
やはり皆さん「楽しく開発したい！」っていう思いを持った方々なので、すごーく楽しい雰囲気でした。
